It's a target rich environment. 

Congrats to both guys, especially Abe (A.K.A PJ).     7 years since being drafted, and he's done all in the minors that could reasonably be asked of an 11th round pick.  He's gonna FINALLY begin to earn a major league wage.  I have no idea how they feel about being dealt from playoff contenders to one of the worst teams in baseball, but hopefully they can see the upside now.  To channel Spinman  (expressing his thought on Collin Balester being called up -

I happened to be sitting behind  Poulin's friends and family last night when he came into the game; it was an awesome experience to be a part of. Terrible night for the rest of the organization, night of a lifetime for that kid and his family. Very happy for him and hope he continues to do well in DC.

Zuck now reporting that Chaparro is coming up. .953 OPS with 14 HRs this year in AAA in just 47 games. Adds a nice RHB to the lineup heading into the Mets series with two LHPs scheduled to face us.
