One of the .38 Special band members is ill so they have postponed the concert at the MGM with Kansas from June 7th until August 24th. That screws with 2 games we have tickets to: 1. We were just gonna spent the night of the 7th at the MGM for the game on June 8th and now we drive up just for the game...2. We've tickets for the August 21st game, which means we now have to make separate 2 trips to DC in 4 days. I traded tickets to other games for these so there is no trading them again...The only good news is they added Jefferson Starship as the opening act instead of The Outlaws...
The pennant race will be heating up then. Are any of the original guys left in Kansas? We saw them in Cincy in I think 2018. Good show. The violin player was excellent and lead singer was passable although no Steve Walsh. Guitar and drums were original guys I believe at that time.
Dunno...not really a Kansas fan...going for .38 Special...and now Jefferson Starship...Fewer and fewer original members in any of these groups...50+ years is a long time to have been in any one group...much less still be alive!
If Skynard is going to be disinterred, Kid Rock and Scott Stapp would be a natural fit...replace dead rednecks with slightly less dead rednecks.
Skynyrd and foreigner are still touring despite having no original members.
