Phillies calling up 24 yo prospect Otto Kemp, who has a 1.010 OPS in AAA, to replace Bryce Harper while he's on the IL.

a K, hit, and a walk in one inning. Makes no sense.

It's because he initially joined on a minor league contract and they probably think no one will claim him off waivers.

Go for what?  They already have five starters now and Painter on the way.  And Walker in the bullpen if needed.  They need an OF hitter and bullpen.

Something like that.  Something bad happens and he homers.

Now that we have lost touch with the rest of the league, I'm so not following the standings.

Good pitching + defense teams like the Mets, Padres, Giants, and Rangers tend to have large home-road W-L differences.

Keibert would dream of those numbers and his defense.
