Keibert would dream of those numbers and his defense.

The Fish have leap-frogged the Barves.  We now trail fourth place Atlanta by 2-1/2 games...

We've made up a game on the Barves...only trail them by 1.5 for fourth...

This probably belonged in the SSS thread...

The Mets have gone 26-28 since June 1 and are now 1.5 back of Philly. They've lost 6 of their last 7. They are 4 ahead of Cincy and one ahead of SD for the 2nd wild card slot.

Mets have now lost 9 of their last 10 but are only 3.5 back of Philly and still 5.5 ahead of Miami.

 Venous TOS comes to mind.

You got that right. Wheeler out 6-8 months. Did you go to Med School?

Yeah, the Medical School of Lived Experience. Mr wj73 had venous TOS several years ago, and needed the rib resection surgery to alleviate it. His started with a blood clot in the shoulder, so when I read about Zack Wheeler, it all seemed familiar.

Gave up a home run on the first pitch he threw in AAA the other night but that was all the damage. 1R in 3 IP. Scheduled to pitch Friday for Philly.

The Nats have the 3rd worst record in MLB with the 2nd worst run differential.  There is no sunshine here.

Braves have won 8 in a row.  Marlins have won 6 in a row and 10 of 11. They are 4.5 back of the last WC spot.

I don't know about tie-breakers, but the Reds have caught the Mutts for the last WC spot...
