Interesting, I wonder if we would've cracked the 1.5M mark without those crappy concerts
How many concerts have there been that would account for 500,000 extra people in a stadium that draws about 20 K on its own?
I also think that retro bobblehead night pulled in a few people who would rather watch a plastic Jayson Werth than the actual players on the team now.
Thank the concerts and visiting team fans...
After spotting many yellow and brown jerseys at Nats Park yesterday, Padres announcers commented on how well the team's fans were traveling.
Doesn’t seem too full. Saw a lot of folks leaving due to the delay
seems full to me. Section 230 to cf is sparce, but the upper corner sections are all sold.
Fullest I recall seeing in quite some time...but I haven't been here on a concert night ..
excluding the Red Sox series

1,286,361 over 51 dates with a 25,222 per game average thru 7/23 projecting to a 2,042,982 season home total...
29,071 last night. Pretty good crowd considering a Tuesday night game.
I was pretty surprised. I think the $5 concessions really bring people out to those Tuesday games. At times the lines to get a $5 beer or hot dog were really long. They were also giving out free pairs of tickets to military and DOD since it was Space Force Night, which may have also boosted attendance.
How are we compared to the Orioles?
