2025 Attendance Projections

Heavily dependent on visiting fans, promos, and summer concerts, I'll go with a slight drop to about 23k a game.

I'm gonna wait until I see how many concerts are on the slate...but 1.8MM for 81 games seems aggressive as is...

Going to up it from 23,000 to 23,010 with the standing room promo, there'll be plenty of places to sit

I’ll go with 22,500. The city is about to go though a hell of a downturn accross feds and contractors

About to? Those who have hung onto their jobs so far are undoubtedly spending less.

well, I renewed the tickets last August and have only 3 more payments out of the 10 for the year, so the tickets are sunk costs. I suppose the concessions is where I may save, but I got an eCash bonus for renewing.

And the Astros right behind them. Is the new place that bad?

it's west palm beach. Somebody said the park is beautiful. Cherished by a lovely fanbase.

Actually, it's one of the best Florida ST parks that I've been to...and I started going to ST games back in the mid-60's...

I think there is a simply lack of interest in paying MLB prices for games featuring FCL talent.  Also, there were a number of night games this year and the trailer park crowd is already starting to nod off at 6:30...

Clearwater sells out most of the games and sell standing room.  Need a motivated fan base that will come down for some vacation and baseball.

Need a MLB level team before the fans come back.  We were last there in 2022...AAAA players aren't worth the 1,800 mile round-trip drive...

It’s across terrible teams. I wonder if fans have finally reached a breaking point supporting clubs that don’t even attempt to compete

It's huge. Add in the Japanese Heritage night tomorrow, should be some advance sales. Weather's going to be cold.

Beer worm?
my son was at the game and shared a picture of the beer snake section. It was about half full. There's no way it was going to reach the top. He said they are now charging $40 for tickets in that section (which is standing room only). They killed the biggest thing that brought people to the stadium.

I traded out my pair for tonight. Between the wet and the cold, no sense. Grabbed a Cubs and a Padres night game.

Did the Lerner's buy the team?

No, the Commanders were bought by competent ownership. A lot of the fan support for the Defenders came from the hatred of the other football team in DC.

Dodgers plus Japanese night plus flowering fruit trees, I'll bet tonight's crowd is large despite the weather.
