dunno if that was a typo, but Crews was placed on the IL on 5/21.

Nats went 6-3 in May after Crews's injury.

I'm a huge Crews's fan and think his absence eventually had a lot to do with the June-ASB skid. When he hit the IL, he was leading rookies in HRs and was 2d in steals. I won't discuss the statcast x stats (which were much better than his actual average and SLG), but will point out that most of his problems were in 2 streaks of about 6 games after the Nats played the Phillies. Other than that, his numbers were very respectable.
