I think the media numbers have been helped by MLB becoming more betting-friendly. It always was the NFL's dirty secret, with the point spread cards and a more popular fantasy profile. In game props really make watching games more important for gamblers. Add in strong NYY and LAD teams lately, and that drives bunts into seats in parks and on couches watching TV

So Cleveland needs a closer? Let's see if they're interested in... nevermind.

Former Nat Catcher and World Series winner in 2019  Kurt Suzuki was hired as Angels New Manager after talks with Albert Pujols failed. This info was listed in another room I was unaware off. Please check that page out

I find it interesting that they went out and hired someone with zero managerial experience, and I don't recall Suzuki giving off any sort of "brilliant baseball mind" or "manager in waiting" vibes during interviews when he was here, but good luck to him.

Maybe it's personality, but I always thought of Studzuki as more of the clown and Gomes as the smarter baseball guy.

Yeah, same. Never seemed too terribly serious, always yucking it up at everything, maybe even some pretty dumb takes on things from time to time.

not quite MLB news, but there's a nice discussion with an AFL player, Jonny Farmelo, from Chantilly Westfield High School. Former 1st rounder with Seattle.

Talks about becoming more aggressive swinging, which has improved a weakness spotted by FG's Longenhagen. 70 runner with 60 FV raw power.

I guess it was close, but I would have gone with Raleigh. The load he carries defensively while producing offensively so outweighs Judge's in right that even the big difference in run production doesn't make Judge more valuable

But you missed the most important part. Judge is a Yankee…

As did Schwarber!!!

I feel bad for Schwarby...but nobody else is winning the NL MVP ever again as long as Shohei is playing in it...

IMHO, of course...

It would be simple for Schwarber to win the MVP. Just read this and follow the advice:

Freddy Freeman booed out of a children's hospital in Toronto - https://x.com/DodgersNation/status/1997029506473947412?s=20

it's part of a fundraiser he is doing with Ryan Reynolds.

I think a co-MVP would have been perfect, but if I could only choose one I would have gone with Judge. We're becoming numb to how good of a hitter he's been but it's only slightly less impressive than what Ohtani has been doing in my opinion.
