Went to the Phillies and Jays game in Clearwooder today. Phillies played all their starters six innings. Jays brought their scrubs. It’s a nice park.  There were no tickets on the team website when I looked last weekend other than standing room seats.  So purchased on the secondary market.  Not cheap. First base side at about the pitchers mound. $180 for two seats. Perhaps would have been cheaper had I waited until closer to game time.  Was in the shade all game. From what I’ve read they sell too many standing room seats and therefore it was too crowded to walk around easily. $ always rules.

I’m trying to figure out why the general area is called the Joe DiMaggio Sports Complex?

must be a different Joe D.

JetBlue was about $50 a decent seat for two weekend games bought about a month in advance.

I think the Phillies sell out early.  If I could plan better would help.

Call? Garrett?

Wilyer Abreu has been sick. They are looking for a AAAA type. They have Rob Refsnyder and Trayce Thompson, but Call would give them a little different set of skills (OBP, D, running).

This hat has already been pulled from sale. If you don't know why, look up what "Tetas" means in Spanish.

I would have loved to buy about 20 of those hats and given them out to the kitchen staff and busboys at CCSP.

They mostly speak Russian, I think. A euphemism for the place among some friends used to be "the Russian Ballet."

Dodgers on their way to a perfect season. Yamamoto was good. Bullpen was dominant. Shohei did Shohei things.

They’ve been in the playoffs three years in a row. If your definition of success is only a championship then almost nothing works.
