perfect. It was so accurate that the 3rd baseman could sell it like it wasn't close and just have it drop into his glove for the tag while catching it. Didn't need to move to get the throw. The runner is safe if he slides. IDK what the 3rd base coach was doing.

Twins release catcher Diego Cartaya. 3 years ago he was the Dodgers' top prospect. Seems like the Dodgers catching prospects might be a bit overrated?

Nick Kurtz from the A’s just became the first rookie in MLB history to hit four home runs in a game. He is the 20th player in MLB history to hit four homers. He also tied the major league record with 19 total bases in one game.

Yanks sac bunt Austin Wells with one out in the ninth in a tied game over to second tonight. Only problem with the plan was that Wells thought there were two outs and walked off the field after reaching second and seeing the out at first. He was promptly tagged out. Yanks did end up winning.

So the Twins got just one prospect back for Correa and mostly unloaded his salary. They have exactly two players under contract for next year (besides rookie/arb players)

Thanks for this. I thought Leidos Field was fine when I attended a game there a few years ago, but apparently clubhouses, batting cages, etc. don’t meet MiLB standards. Big investment on Frederick’s part for ballpark upgrades, but that ballpark definitely needed some $$ put into it.

I'd never heard of a game suspended for lack of food before...
