Where's Welch?  I seem to recall that light hitting Eddie Brinkman swung a bat that had a lower fat spot than most did.  No idea where he would typically make contact though.
You have to actually make contact for the bat to make a difference!

We offered Soto what, 14/$440? I doubt he would have signed for anything shy of $600M and ended up with far more than that.

missed a month last year with a hamstring injury too. I guess he can't stay healthy.  Good thing we didn't pick him over Crews.

Yup...what would we do without that .286 OPS and questionable outfield glove...we really dodged a bullet there...

MLB Home Run Leaders:
1. Tyler Soderstrom - 8
2. 10-player tie including the likes of James Wood, Jazz Chisholm, Tommy Edman, Kyle Schwarber, and Spencer Torkelson as well as folks you'd expect to see on that list (Judge, Trout, Carroll, Flores, Tatis, Trout).

Edman hit a grand total of 6 in 175 or so ABs last year.

They want it bad, and did back when the Expos were relocated.  Issue is the growth there has stagnated and Salt Lake seems to be the preferred spot.  Either way, will be good to have another Western franchise and to realign the Texas teams with the Central or South where they belong, especially with expansion likely leading to 8 divisions.
