hope he delivers for the Nats finally
he's currently sporting a 4.78 ERA, which means he probably no-hits us

Why not...the Nats gave him $3MM to sign and a player stipend for the past 7 years...he should have much of that bonus left to invest (after taxes) and live better than many 26 year old kids and maybe even come out of it with a degree...

Another Boras Bust...

Friday was the first complete game and first shutout of the year in the majors. It was also Erick Fedde's first career shutout and complete game.

The Mets signed Colin Poche to a minot league contract after he was DFA'd here. He has a 13.50 ERA in 1 1/3 IP in 2 games for Syracuse.

Braves release Jordan Weems after he gave up runs in 5 of his last 6 AAA outings. Apparently the problem wasn't our coaching.

I found this hiding in the house today...the MLB Authentication code said it was a Nat and that we got it at Spring Training in 2013...that would have been in Viera, Fl at that time...

Anyone care to take a guess who signed it...I would have never guessed...I don't even know which side is up, I simply guessed it is as shown...

Maybe Jhonatan Solano? The first two letters of the first name look like a Jh, and the last name has some circle-like strokes that could be Os.

The only problem is that the sig looks like it was done by a lefty, and he bats/throws right.

Giants DFA'd LaMonte Wade Jr and signed former Nat Dom Smith.  Not the smartest move but they're just waiting for Bryce Eldridge to be ready.

Need a couple dozen current players to do the same thing...
