Henry to the 15 day IL with a sore back. I think we saw that in his last couple times out.

2.2 innings, no hits, 3 walks, 2 strikeouts. 45 pitches, 21 strikes.

Four seamer didn't cracked 91

so 6 balls in play for outs and none for hits (could have been some DPs)

Much too soon to write Gray off.  Has the whole offseason to get some velocity back.

at this point, it's just getting him back on the mound. He won't be ready until May / June if he really is ready. Roster Resource says he has 3 options left, fwiw

Zuck:

Daylen Lile was walking around the clubhouse with only a slight limp. He said he's going to be fine, didn't need X-rays. Texted his mom to say thanks for forcing him to drink so much milk growing up.

Per Cairo: Josiah Gray done for the year. Abrams could be back in the field tomorrow. Lile sore but fine.

Should keep Nassim at SS. Time to try CJ at 2B.

1 start might have been nice as a confidence booster, but he's not there. At least he got on the mound in the minors. Tbh, I suspect he won't break camp with the team next year.

I think you're right. The Nats will need to make another 1 year deal for a pitcher and try and flip them at the deadline. Which is fine.

Cairo didn't say it was injury related. Sounded like they just didn't want to push him too hard.
