Law to the 60-day IL with right forearm inflammation. Not sure if this just an administrative move to clear a spot, or if he's reinjured himself.

Update: i saw some posts that he experienced elbow pain and was heading for a MRI.

Sorry for the guy first. Seemed like he had major league stuff and he contributed to the decent 1st 2.5 months last year. I hope he can bounce back if he needs surgery

another update: Zuck says it was a process move to clear a 40-man spot. He last pitched July 2nd.

who did they have to clear a spot for? Shinno was on the 40 man. Was it to activate Thompson?

He did take that shot to the head this weekend and stayed in the game...which he probably shouldn't have done...

Sounds like maybe they’re rushed him back or he was hiding symptoms. But it’s the worst position to have a concussion as you are going to take a beating back there. Just shut him down for the month.
