Wood dealing with left quad tendinitis. Able to hit but not participating in fielding drills.
Zach Brzykcy pitched on Feb. 25 and hasn't pitched since. Dave Martinez said he's dealing with an injury to his left leg (his plant leg) that affects him when he lands. Said Brzykcy has thrown a few bullpens recently and it's felt better but he's day-to-day.
Rosario's "right knee didn't feel right" during pre-game warmups according to Davey. Said it was minor.Abrams dealing with cramps in his quads, should be fine.
Why would he have cramps in the first inning? Wasnt that warm yesterday.
You can cramp up in below freezing temperatures.
I think he may have meant craps...CJ's new nickname should be snake eyes. Not very flattering, but a step up from bust...
So you’re telling me he didn’t drink anything for a couple hours?
Doubtful...I think the Hard Rock bar is open 24/7...
Chaparro out with a left oblique strain, won't be ready for OD.
Jorge López is dealing with a left hip issue, but the veteran reliever should still be on track to make the Opening Day roster if he can return to pitch in the next few days.López hasn’t pitched since March 10, one of only three Grapefruit League appearances by the 32-year-old so far this spring. The Nationals have held him back since because of his hip, but he was set to throw a light bullpen session today.“They put him on some medication to calm it down, inflammatory stuff,” manager Davey Martinez said. “We’ll see how that goes, and hopefully we get him out there either tomorrow or the next day.”
