I was there. I hadn’t realized what a soft tosser he was - most of his pitches ranged from 70 to the low 80’s. I only saw one pitch that hit 90. The batters simply didn’t know what to do. He looked very strong the first 2 times through the order, but on the third go round, they started hitting him. He was taken out with the bases loaded, but the score was 10-1.
The pitcher who replaced him, Jared Simpson, promptly let all 3 inherited runners score, and gave up 4 of his own, just for good measure, although all were unearned. The game seesawed after that, ending with. Harrisburg 13-12 win in the 10th inning. Just a weird game overall.
