Ogasawara struggling again.

His fastball is only like 89mph, right?

They bring over guys from minor league camp to play in some games, especially somebody like Adon who can cover innings on a day with split squads.

Abrams with the lead off triple.  And then a couple batters later while still at 3B he leaves the game.  Had a parlay going on at Hard Rock?

If CJ has a muscle pull then I'd imagine either Nunez or Tena makes the roster. Right now, that looks like Nunez.

they are playing him some there. Interesting development. There's room for a righty 2B/1B. Not that he'll break camp, but he could get exposure there in AA or AAA. Gives him an alternative path if House / Morales / Tena ends up at 3rd.

Astros announcers said Rosario was pulled from lineup just before the game. It’s a good thing these guys keep in such good shape during the offseason so we don’t have injuries.

Nunez has earned it given his spring (1-2 today and stole his 7th base).

Gore settled down nicely: 5.1 IP, 2H, 3BB, 6K, 0R

Ironically, Wallace might be the best defensive 3B in the system.

always good to put a whooping on the Astros, even if spring training. 9-0 currently.

I am beginning to really like Nunez. And that's exactly the opposite of what I thought, and often said, most of last season.

you aren't the only one who would have to eat crow. I wanted to offer him back to the Marlins or work a small trade for his rights.

It's Spring Training. None of this is even remotely close to regular MLB

It feels to me they’re trying to get Wallace off 3B and see his utility ability.  I’d support that other than I don’t trust House’s bat and I’d rather Cayden be considered a 3B until someone makes themselves the best prospect option there.

I know they can only play one guy there at a time in Rochester, I just hope Wallace gets a shot as the answer at 3B if he is hitting well in Rochester.

I’m pessimistic in CJ Abrams. I want to believe he’ll come back and perform as an average defender and top bat, I just doubt the Nationals are that lucky. Path is open at SS if Nunez wants to take it.
