Spring training opens with the first pitcher / catcher workouts on February 12 and the first full-squad workout on February 18. Games begin on February 22.

Here's the schedule. I haven't seen anything yet about broadcast coverage but I suspect MASN will show the 3rd inning of the 4th game and that's about it.

One thing we forget sometimes is Susana is only a month older than Sykora.

Susana being in major league camp is definitely a surprise. Sykora will likely start the year at Wilmington. If he pitches like he did last year, it's not out of the question that he gets a cup of coffee at the end of 2025.

I doubt it because of service time, starting in the season in low minors, and the light loads on pitching prospects these days. Sykora only pitched 85 innings in 21 starts last year, I'd be surprised if they let him go more than 100 across all levels. If all goes well and he doesn't get hurt, I could see a mid-season bump to Harrisburg, start '26 in Rochester, then a mid-late season callup next year. With Susana likely starting in Harrisburg, he has a better chance of a late season callup this season, though they're still likely to be cautious with his workload.

Zuck notes that CJ Abrams, Dylan Crews, James Wood, Josh Bell, Jacob Young, and Brady House are already in camp. Good sign to see CJ there early.

When it's all said and done, the Nationals will have paid Straburg 350+ million dollars. That should sufficiently repair any relationship.

Funny part was Rizzo's desperate damage control saying Mini Me actually meant that Strasburg would be there "to mentor".
