Lomavita but not Bazzell. Susana but not Sykora. One thing we forget sometimes is Susana is only a month older than Sykora.
Susana being in major league camp is definitely a surprise. Sykora will likely start the year at Wilmington. If he pitches like he did last year, it's not out of the question that he gets a cup of coffee at the end of 2025.
Zuck notes that CJ Abrams, Dylan Crews, James Wood, Josh Bell, Jacob Young, and Brady House are already in camp. Good sign to see CJ there early.

As part of the Washington Nationals’ 20th anniversary season, alumni players are being included in their own rotating lineup of guest instructors that of course begins with Ryan Zimmerman, Gerardo Parra, and Sean Doolittle who are on staff plus scheduled alumni that include the following position players: Ian Desmond, Danny Espinosa, Adam LaRoche, Denard Span and Jayson Werth. These are the alumni pitchers scheduled to appear: Tyler Clippard, Aníbal Sánchez, Drew Storen and Jordan Zimmermann. Noticeably missing: Stephen Strasburg. A source told us that he was invited and declined the invitation.
Talknats:They need to repair the strasburg relationship.
What is to repair? Does Strasburg want to be a coach/mentor with the Nationals? When it's all said and done, the Nationals will have paid Straburg 350+ million dollars. That should sufficiently repair any relationship.
Zuck reports Susana was throwing 100mph in a workout
Remember last year. He was going to have to report to spring training or else. That was a bluff.
