Will be working on moving the site to an updated server in the coming weeks (just the back end, site will still look the same). If you notice any intermittent outages, it's probably me. If it stays off for too long, call JCA on the batphone, he knows how to reach me

Thanks, can't take credit though, just borrowed. Felt criminal not to acknowledge 20 years (for both the team and the site!) in some way.

there's a ridiculous number of guests browsing the site. 20,000+. I think 1000 used to be a lot up until 2--3 years ago. I don't know if browsing somehow ties up the server.

Since bots ruined it long ago, I have changed the "most online" count/date to 2019 on 2019-10-30 @ 11:47pm

I don't think it's necessarily malicious, I think it's just the state of the internet... bots are most of the traffic on the web.

It's mostly a problem when it interferes with access and speed of the board.
