That was very sudden. He had announced he would not run again and cited health reasons, but there was certainly no indication this was imminent.
He announced he had it in November. Obviously it was an agressive cancer.
it was manageable enough to run for ranking member against AOC. He didn't turn over the ranking member slot to Lynch until pretty recently

My brother has a picture of Swit holding my niece when my niece was very young, maybe 9 months old. I forget where the family ran into her, maybe on a road trip to New Hampshire back when they lived in Stoneham.
