This guy is ready for his MLB debut NOW.  13.1 strikeouts per 9 innings.

Why would the Tigers expose him like that?

had to make room for Morton

Bunch of non-prospect promotions:
- Erick Mejia and Adrian Sampson (both RHPs) promoted to Rochester from Harrisburg
- Caleb Farmer (C) and LHP Erik Tolman promooted to Harrisburg from Wilmington

Meija used to be in the organization as a shortstop but converted to pitching.

Nats claim 26 year old Sauryn Lao off waivers from Seattle and option him to Rochester. Darren Baker DFA'd to clear a roster spot.

Looks like he converted to a pitcher in 2024. Pitched very well in AAA this year but got rocked in limited action in the majors.

Converted in 2022 with a competitive debut in 2023.  Pretty steady progress since.

Stupid name, though.

Of the whole lot, I think I'll miss CJ Stubbs the most.  Happy for him he at least got that cup of coffee and caught a great game.
