the guy is from Jacksonville. Is it big enough for MLB? I've got to believe they want to keep it somewhere in Tampa with better access for Orlando.

I think he keeps the team in the Tampa area, much better media market. The Brightline high speed train is likely going to be extended from Orlando to Tampa in a few years.

Hopefully he can actually work out something with the city to move the team into downtown Tampa rather than being stuck in St. Pete.

Would cut about 20 miles off the drive for me which is a good thing.  A shame they couldn’t find a spot in Ybor City but we will see what the county does.

Ain't that the truth...the last time I drove from the Kissimmee area to Altamonte Springs it took me 3 hours...

I don’t go downtown much but I think so.  The area we are at is terrible cause they built all the homes and shopping areas and Narcoosee road can’t handle it as you make you’re way down to St. Cloud.  It’s three lanes much of the way but it’s not enough. They’re finally building an access road off the 417 to get around it.  I’m sure it will be a toll road. Probably completed after I’m dead. Luckily most days don’t have to drive far.
