that's a change of fortune. Crew blows two calls in a row. 1st reviewable and flips a call for the Nats. Second isn't and is worse against the Nats.

I missed yesterday's game but Franny said the 3rd base umpire who called the check swing was the home plate umpire yesterday and also did a bad job then?

I suppose a positive is that the bottom end relievers didn't let the game get worse after Irvin's problems, but that's about it.

IDK why these guys still have the capacity to disappoint me, but this trip did.
