When is WNFF's 20th? You ought to do the thread that day.

July 5th, looks like the Red Sox are in town that day.

I think I have tickets that day. Fitting that a Red Sox fan will not be around to start the GDT. I think SpiderNat would have been very upset.

My dream would be to have as many of the old timers who lurk now to post that day. Or maybe have some of the bots who drive up our page views post ;)

Zuck says the team will induct the 2005 Nationals into the Ring of Honor this Saturday (as a group I assume).

Attendees include: Jamey Carroll, Chad Cordero, John Patterson, Brian Schneider, & Ryan Zimmerman.

Just saw the highlights for thee 20 years again and realized there has not been a top 10 moment (or how ever many they are doing) in the past 6 years. Nothing to make you happy.

The only thing I could think of is Schwarber's June 2021, but that's not one game or appearance.

FWIW, to mark the 20th I delved into the wardrobe and gave my old Expos jersey an outing... ;)

First game at RFK was 20 years ago today, a 5-3 win over Arizona.

Lineup:
Wilkerson LF
Johnson 1B
Vidro 2B
Guillen RF
Church CF
Castilla 3B
Schneider C
Guzman SS
Livan P

Livan went 8.1, Cordero got a 2 out save. Termel Sledge replaced Guillen late.

I met Schneider & Jamey Carroll in person, they are very nice guys. I miss those other guys on that list too, can't believe it's been over 20 years.
