Wilson is still dumb and dirty. I know the announcer said he was trying to lift the SJ player stick but he was nowhere near the stick. Just swinging his stick high. Lucky he didn’t take the kids eye out.

Really enjoy watching this '24-'25 Caps team...and Ovi gets an Empty Netter...The Gr8 is one closer to the Great One...

I’m in the area so was blacked out.  Nice for him to get a goal in his first game back.

870...25 goals to go.  We see him against the Wild in St. Paul in 37 more games...he may well have topped 900 by then.  He certainly has a good chance to hit 894 in fewer games than Gretzky...

Damned shame Chuckie pulled a Holtby and fumbled away a goal from behind the net...tied 2-2 in the second...

Holy Jumpin'...the zebras really seem to have screwed the pooch on that disallowed Wilson goal...

...and the Caps lose 4-3 in the shootout...

That was bunk but OOTH a Bettman point against a non-divisional team and an Ovie goal, could be worse.  Now we just need to humiliate Lavi tomorrow

Caps have put up 7 goals so far today...unfortunately, 3 of them were on mistakes...4-3 Caps over the Rags midway thru the third...

5-3 Caps with 8 minutes to go...

...and now another mistake and it's 5-4 with 7 minutes to go...

...and now it's 6-4 Caps with 6 minutes to go...what a game!!!

Not their best effort tonight...lucky to get the 2 points with Dubois getting both goals, including the OT GWG.  The OT winner was a thing of beauty...

We were at the game last night and we both thought it felt like a fairly long, dragging experience. But the OT winner made up for that. If you have to go to OT, better for it to be against a team from the other conference if possible.

It was a decent crowd considering that half the roads in the DMV are still iced up.  Also that kerfuffle in the first period was quite unlike the usual visiting western team games that are about as physical as cricket.

I walked there and back, wound up slipping on black ice and breaking a rib, hopefully better luck tonight

gee, dude, you're a Canadian. I guess it's usually too cold where you are from for any snow to melt and freeze.

Sorry to hear about the rib. Are you sure it is broken and not just hurting / muscular?

Sorry Ali that you and your wife are having some health issues already in the new year. At least the Caps are doing better to keep you distracted from the pain.

Think I will watch period one and then football.
