Odd too, 'cause they sent Kuemper packin'.  Jubus he was bad...and played so bad in game 3 this year (8 goals vs Ottawa) that the Kings have placed him on the IR list...

Tom Wilson is en fuego...5 goals in 4 games...
Goalies are voodoo. Well 90 percent of them.

Another win and Ovi up to 855. Five straight wins.

Carberry is going to end up being the best DC coach hire since Joe Gibbs

I'm giving the GM lots of credit.  Maneuvered the cap to get some good vets.  And BTW, it's early.

I hope that empty netter get's PLD scoring goals...coach says he's been great other than the stats...now let's see the stats...

I had the great pleasure of watching the game from ringside, er, rinkside seats thanks to the generosity of Mr VARK...it went a long ways towards soothing the still-open wound of that game 7 2OT loss when Tom Poti was in the box under very questionable circumstances.  Wow, that was almost 20 years ago

One of the more enjoyable Caps games I've seen in a while...great 5-3 win and 2 goals for the GR8...

This team is special.   Need to trade for another defenseman, but I love this team

Caps opened a can of whoop-ass on the Habs in the 3rd, and The GR8 with another goal...37 from passing The Great One...

Protas has been really good...maybe he'll have that "tall guy breakout season" like Chara had with Ottawa way back when.

Jebus...Caps are destroying the CBJ's 6-1 five minutes into the 2nd.  The GR8 with his 6th of the season needs just 36 to pass The Great One...

He's on pace to break it when we are at the March 27th game in Minnesota...wouldn't that be something?  Small sample size, I know...but that's what we specialize in here...

according to the Ovechkin fan page, Ovi is on pace to break Gretzky's record around March 13 (coincidentally they play in LA on March 13th where Gretzky broke Howe's record).

It didn't help that Andrew Brunette was trying to look like Rodney Dangerfield
