That’s much better Dylan than trying to take out your own goalie.

It’s a shame because they’ve played perfect D other than the power plays.  And their own PP has been bad.

Thompson got beat gloveside at the post twice...looked like he needed to be further out on the last one...

Gotta figure things out and get the offense rolling...

Nice comeback.  Way to shut up those fans.

It’s really hard to blow a 3-1 series lead.   Right?

Caps have done it. I remember once they lost a series to the Penguins, leadin 3 games to 1, and leading Game 5 about 2-0 in the second...about 1988 or so

I read that Montreal put Tom Wilson trading cards inside all of the urinals inside the arena.  Have to admit that’s funny.

I remember sometime in the 2005 to 2007 timeframe someone did something similar with Pittsburgh's #87 at Verizon Center. He had his mouth wide open and the cards said, "I'm thirsty." Problem was, if you aimed your stream at the card, it tended to splash too much, if you know what I mean.

Last night I enjoyed seeing Wilson react to his goal by slamming into the glass directly in front of that idiot who kept raising his middle fingers (the guy, of course, raised his fingers again in response).

The guy who did that also did Daniel Briere with the caption "Daniel PiHere" in all the urinals before a Flyers game around the same time.

The National Hockey League announced today that it has fined the Montreal Canadiens and Washington Capitals $25,000 each for unsportsmanlike conduct during warm-ups prior to Game 4 of their First Round series on Sunday, April 27. The fine money goes to the NHL Foundation.

Additionally, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety has fined Montreal’s Arber Xhekaj $3,385.42 and Washington’s Dylan McIlrath $2,018.23, both the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for unsportsmanlike conduct during Sunday’s warm-ups. The fine money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.

Raddysh apparently.  He's been pretty good IMO so bad break for him...ah well, an embarrassment of riches.

Dobeš starts for Montreal again. Montembeault apparently didn't make the trip. Laine reportedly out as well and Carrier is a gametime decision.

I heard a rumor that Monty tore two muscles in his leg...likely out for the series...

We had better win tonight...no excuse not to with the Habs limping in and the Caps at full strength at home.  Getting Dowd's line matched against the Suzuki line with the last change should help quite a bit...

Speaking of embarrassment. He was busy today testifying via video link in the junior team rape trial.

3-0 Caps at the end of the 2nd. Tom Wilson scores on PP.
