This team , don't think they will ever be good again. Every trade, every coach everything about it is just worse each year to the next. We are going to wind up getting absolutely nothing good in return for the trades and any play that does okay will be traded over and over. I hope the learners are happy for what they did to this franchise after Ted died.

Most Nats fans don’t care as long as you feed them BS PR about why ownership’s not spending.  No other fan base would put up with 5 straight losing seasons like this one.  It’s also why DC is a Mecca for bad owners. Can’t get away with this in other decent sized markets.

How long have you been a Nats fan? What do you know about Nats fans, Redskin fans, Caps fans, or fans of the other teams? Why should we believe anything you try to say?

And please, impersonate my posts.  I wouldn’t tolerate politicians like Rizzo who can’t do their jobs competently.  But you all are ok with it.  I’ll remain a fan of this team whether you like it or not, but I’ll also call out this org’s massive dysfunction as it should be.  I mean, imagine Snyder if he bought the Eagles, wouldn’t have gone like it did in DC.

Phillies fans put up with non winning seasons longer. Nine seasons. 2012-20. Just be patient. Or maybe you should switch to a juggernaut like the SF Giants.

I don’t think we will win more than 2 more games this season. Mondays loss sucked the life blood out of this team. The minute they hit some adversity they fold.

Stop crying.  You’re part of the problem. Another low expectations fan who’s ok with 5 straight losing seasons and no one being held accountable for it.  Grow a pair.
Not only am  I not  content with losing but I accept the rebuild philosophy. And I own my business and don’t accept losing.

It's been 3 years since I had to mute someone. I don't care what anyone says about ownership, management, players, but nobody should repeatedly insult other members.

Worst series of the year? I suppose both Padres series were still worse.

I recall IR announced his arrival, on WNFF, with a series of, shall we say, 'robust' posts. Plus ca change...  ;)

So our2024 Nationals are shut-out, again, with only two runs in three games this series, and give Quintana seven scoreless innings for the third time this season. Don't you just love the Mutts...  ;)

I enjoy his posts when they don't insult people on WNFF. He's got some fantastic insights into performance of players on the Nats and other teams (e.g., hard hit rates, OPS, development  ...). Beyond that, he strongly believes that the ownership and management are putting on an unacceptable product, are being deceptive to the fanbase, and that the fanbase has been pretty passive about tolerating it in terms of attending games, shelling out money, and being naively optimistic about things getting better. I can't say he lacks any basis for saying these things. Where his posts become a problem is when they get insulting towards folks who post counter-arguments. I don't view it as poisoning everything he posts. Frankly, part of the muting last night was just to stop the back and forth because I think folks start firing back insults and I just wanted it all to chill.

It's actually been 2+ years since I put on a member on mute (June 2022). A mod will need to approve IR's next post (a safety The Chief built in). I'm going to be watching the exchanges for a while and hope folks don't  try to troll him. If you really can't stand his posts, then you can put him on "ignore." Much better than getting into bad exchanges. I may go direct to warnings and muting if with anyone who I thinking is baiting him or losing their cool in response.
