And Walter Johnson could hit. In yesterday's game (-100 years), Johnson was hitting .301 with about a .750 OPS. Got a couple of RBIs. That season, he was named MVP.

Bucky Harris had selected RHP Curly Ogden to start so John McGraw started his LH lineup, including young Bill Terry (future Hof). Then Bucky relieved Ogden with southpaw Tom Zachary and shut down Terry. After Terry flailed and failed twice, McGraw replaced him with Irish Meusel, brother of the Yankees' Bob Meusel.
