Would you guys trade Kearns for Francoeur? Just wondering, considering we lack power and all.

Walking JF is to lead off the inning is pretty poor. We need better from Micah. I've been pretty pleased with the quality of the at bats so far from the lineup. C'mon Micah, keep it close.

and just like that the Nats are losing.. seriously, this is the worst they have played all year.  Guzman's injury must have really killed the spirit of the team.

the same thing happened to the twins a few years back guzman got injured and then the twins fell of the race for the central

Agreed.  He is an awful, awful hitter. Walking him is unforgiveable

kearns has not been producing and seems to strike out a bit, plus francour has a big upside

Finally got the signal. OK now it's time to take control of this game. They've been waiting for me to arrive.

Yep

I'd have to agree. Crazy power man w/ a gun in the OF. Strikes out a lot, but so does Kearns. Plus, he's only 23!

Whoever is responsible for showing those views from behind the plate should be shot.. just awful.  How do they expect you to see what is going on?

I would do it. It's not like Kearns is lighting it up and JF could still become a bit more disciplined.

I like em sometimes. It gives you a more realistic view from the batter's p.o.v. I can follow the game just fine.

All that, but even with the K's - most are bases empty when he Ks about every 4 AB swinging for the fences.  With runners on, his rate improves by 50%.  Plus, it seems he drives in guys that aren't even on base.  He's driven in over 40% the RISP when he's been to the plate.  Plus, his dad is a friend of mine (and doesn't think much of Jeff still being with his high school sweetheart).
