City comes back and wins 2-1.

So City vs Forest.

Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace.

Interesting article. I know most of these just from watchung the Premier League on Peacock. Several of these are the same as ways of playing in the NHL, by the way.

Wow Palace survives a bloodbath to beat Brighton Hove 2-1.  They were down to 9 players at the end of the match.  And the Brighton lost a player.  About 15 minutes of added time at the end. Moving up the standings.  I can dream they might make the Europa league.

The Premier League is dull as hell this year...it's just as anticlimactic at the bottom of the table as at the tap.  There is absolutely zero suspense, unlike last year.  Leicester City might as well have just overdosed on sleeping pills.

  There is absolutely zero suspense,

Will Southampton go down as the worst PL team ever - still two points adrift of Derby's record which, it was assumed, would never be challenged... ;)

They are working toward it. Fired the head coach, which cannot be good for their last few games.

Meanwhile, our cousins -- co-owned by Josh Harris -- are doing so well that Oliver Glassner, manager of Crystal Palace, is being talked of as the replacement for Ange Postecoglou at Spurs. And lots of assertions that this, that or another Palace star will be snapped up this summer. Guehi, Eze, Mateta, and others.

Of course, I don't understand British football journalism...various richer teams are always about to "swoop" for dozens, even hundreds, of European players. "Arsenal are scouting XYZ, but they will have competion from..." Almost as if the only sportswriters wrote for MLBTR...

Luton Town may not have gone down in such spectacular fashion but they certainly didn't stop digging after relegation.

When there's nothing else to talk about a bit of pseudo it'll never happen transfer talk fills the column inches - and gives the fans something meaningless to argue over, so as to maintain 'engagement'... :D  ;) Actually, when all else fails there's always VAR to argue about - 'let's have a heated debate...'

That's about what I've concluded. Having been a Spurs fan for too long, I've become a slight bit cynical, even doubting the articles saying that Harry Kane will return for next season.

So Leeds and Burnley will move to the EPL.  Sheffield and Sunderland to have a playoff for the third promotion. Sunderland Till I Die.
