Poch was a great coach for Spurs during the time they were short of money because they were building the finest soccer stadium in the world. Spurs then suffered under Mourinho and Conte, a pair of big name wind-bags. Pochettino then took over Chelsea, a crazy team, and organized them. Got them winning in the second half of last season and was fired for his trouble. And was praised by everyone but Chelsea's Co-Directors of Football. Yes, Chelsea has two guys in the same role as Adam Peters and Mike Rizzo.
Pochetino is a fine coach who would have been a fine choice at a big PL team.
It's interesting to me that they went for a coach with a track record at high levels instead of the next best guy coming out of MLS. I think this is the first time they've gone with a guy with an intenational rep since Bora 30+ years ago.
