Looked really good in his spring breakout start. New delivery looks easier to repeat and locate. Think he’s poised for a big year.

Big thing for him this year will be to stop throwing so many ball fours.  Also will be interesting to see how all these hard throwers adjust to the majors after pitching just 80-100 IP a year in the minors like he, Susana, Syroka, and other teams' young prospects are.  If MLB starters start going less than 5 IP, and can't get through the lineup twice, their value will plummet.

That will force a change to pitching staffs. No team can then afford  having every reliever be a 1-inning specialist. Maybe two guys, but the rest would have to be capable of four innings...maybe rolling back to the way a pitching staff was shaped in 1924 or 1959. Guys like Firpo Marberry or Tex Clevenger.

Meh, rosters will likely be expanded by the time that comes to fruition. Or the overall number of games reduced. Or both.

Right now pitching staffs are 13 (5 starters, 3 relievers). These guys have to pitch a combined 1458 regular season innings a year. There’s a lot of ways to make that happen

Kind of expect the up and down performances from him for a while while he develops control. I'm sure the stuff is great

Down tonight.  5 ball fours in 3 innings with a HR given up, and 68 pitches thrown.

off course that has to come down, but you can't really talk about Clemmey and omit the Ks (27). A Nuke LaLouche, but Nuke made it to the Show.

If Clemmey ever makes it to the Nats, he'll be a great candidate to sustain the bullpen's lead in hit batters.

He’s down to exactly 9 walks and hit batters per 9 IP.
