I get the Nunez / Vivas hitting hate, but the offense is still scoring a ton of runs. They field the position far better than King. If the offense stops scoring, then I might try something more desperate, but for now, I'm willing to let him ripen until CJ is dealt or it's September.
On July 1st, Nats' prospect Seaver King exited the game in Rochester following a first-inning strikeout. A source tells me he has since been added to the IL with an oblique injury. King remains traveling with the team, and the injury is not considered to be serious.
