I get the Nunez / Vivas hitting hate, but the offense is still scoring a ton of runs. They field the position far better than King. If the offense stops scoring, then I might try something more desperate, but for now, I'm willing to let him ripen until CJ is dealt or it's September.

Tena is a bigger problem than Vivas. Tena is not hitting and he has never been a good fielder. He is a DH most often, when he plays at all. Tena might be surplus, but he is a waste of a 40-man spot.

On July 1st, Nats' prospect Seaver King exited the game in Rochester following a first-inning strikeout. A source tells me he has since been added to the IL with an oblique injury.

King remains traveling with the team, and the injury is not considered to be serious.
