It’s not the Sixers first but lowest of one of three others they have. One team is OKC. So it will be near end of first round pick. The more the merrier.

We took on Marcus Smart and got a first round pick for our trouble. I like this deadline. Hopefully there is a plan to make sure the veterans don't win us games

wished Johnny Davis would have worked out. He showed glimpses.

Finberg:
Quote
Full trade:

Wizards:
Marcus Smart
Colby Jones
Alex Len
2025 first-round pick

Grizzlies:
Marvin Bagley III
Johnny Davis

Wiz get a first-round pick and promising player in Jones to take on Smart’s salary. Only send out Bagley (expiring deal) and Davis.

Will Dawkins masterclass.

Reggie Jackson
Marcus Smart
Alex Len.

Wonder who they will keep versus cut loose?  Smart could help teach these guys defense.

I think Jackson is 34. Smart has a year left as does Middleton. Maybe they play well enough last year that the Wiz can deal their expiring contracts? That's about $60 million in those two IIRC.

Figures that Middleton would miss a game tying three as time expired.

Not much chance of them falling out of the top three. Odd for top three are 14 percent and then 4th place is 12 percent.

I wonder if Flagg will really stay at Duke? I think we will be ready to tank again next year just in case.

That would be such a stupid move. The sooner you get on a rookie deal, the sooner you get to a max extension

Can he hold off deciding until he see who wins the lottery?

I think so.  I've read that his NIL money could approach what he would make as a rookie in the NBA.  Like $13 million.  Would be taking a risk of injury though.
