Flagg broke the all time ACC freshmen record for scoring
Lagg for Flagg.

Watching Rutgers,  Dylan Harper not playing.  Injured?  Ace Bailey is quite the shooter and scorer.  9/10 first half including 4/4 threes.  24 points.  Would not be a bad consolation prize.

Wizards are 6-40.  Sixers 9-72 may be within reach. Just one road win. Amazingly they are 4-3 in their own Southeast division.  Those teams should be ashamed.

I think the commanders end up with more wins this year. I’m torn between some optimism around Sarr being a future rotation leader piece and maybe Coulibally and Carrington and Poole looking better and Jonas looking like a trade asset and wondering how they haven’t even managed to back into wins. Poole’s numbers this year should be worth at least a couple on their own

if this team misses out on Flagg, it will all have been for naught.

I haven’t been watching. Should have traded Kuzma last year when they could have gotten more. At least there is a glimmer of hope.

Between Coulibaly Sarr and whoever they draft, I think they have three of the eight that you need to compete. The problem is that they don’t exactly have the same warchest of picks that the Jazz, Thunder, Nets have. Starting off a rebuild by trading you star doesn’t work when you get nothing back

They did have three first round picks this year. Some folks seem to like George also.

Given how bad the draft was, I think they hit it out of the park. I was very wrong about Sarr

Win number 7. Almost as shocking as the trade.

Milwaukee and the Wiz are discussing a deal that would send Kuzma to Miller-town for Khris Middleton and draft picks. The Wizards have an exception to take on salary in a trade due to the Gafford deal, and the Bucks are looking to rid themselves of Middleton's contract.

That’s a sad ending for him. Hopefully he wouldn’t get the wizards any wins. At this point you have to assume he picks up his $34 million next year. I doubt they could flip him for anything

Kuzma-Middleton deal is done. Wiz get Middleton, AJ Johnson, and a pick-swap for Kuzma, Patrick Baldwin Jr. and a 2nd round pick.

AJ Johnson was a first round pick this past season. So now we have four first round picks from the 2024 draft.

Not sure why the Bucks would want Kuzma but so be it. Middleton has one more year after this on his contract.

They want under the second apron for this year and this trade gets them there. I’m not sure why the wizards get out of it- another pick in the consensus worst draft ever and a swap that won’t get exercised

They get Kuzma away from the team so the young guys can have the ball.

wait - do the Wiz get a pick outright plus Johnson and a swap, or just Johnson and a swap.

2028 first-round swap from Milwaukee while the Bucks will get a 2025 second-round pick per nba.com

Bucks fans seem upset over the loss of Johnson, he's played well in the G league. Drafted 23rd overall last year and at one point was considered a top-10 pick. Finally got some actual playing time on Monday and scored 13 in 29 minutes.

I thought Johnson was a raw talent who was supposed to be a second round pick and then the Bucks took a shot at him in round one??  Not a shooter.  Anyway more young guys.  This is the way!
