I don't know their complete depth chart, but I assume they are trying to get playing time for Yepez and Blankenhorn, who both probably are as good hitters as Adams. Adams won't be at 1st every day.

Yepez and Blankenhorn have been the primary DH/1B

Riley went 2-4 last night (both singles), so an off-night.

Years of being told he is going to play 1B and I think he has a total of two starts there.

I just want him to have one week. Just one. Play at first, hit everyday, see what happens. Probably nothing, but never know.
