Thinking of going to the game against the Orioles next Wednesday although I'm gonna hold off on buying tickets until we get closer to the game.  Right now they're calling for "PM thunderstorms" which might make the game a no go.

I think that game is Grateful Dead night. I don't know if you abhor ancient hippies and the younger wannabes, but they have a cover band pregame that's knows the repertoire and does an adequate job if you are drinking a beer. They have a tee shirt, too, if you buy your ticket through the organized event, but if you just like to listen to live music, you can hang at the Loft and look over the band on the CF plaza. Since 2021, I try to pick up tickets for the game after the trade deadline. I was at that game when the fans gave Gabe Klobosits the "Let's Go, New Guy" chant. It's almost become a tradition, but this year, they only have retreads called up (Call, Blankenhorn, Adon ...).

Got tickets for the morning game tomorrow through Seatgeek. SG shows the game start as 1:30 PM but the official schedule shows 11:35 for the Roku game. I wonder how many people are going to show up for what they think is a 1:30 start.

My mom and I are going to the Thursday game in Philly. It looks like Parker will start that game, which is great because I can't sit through another Corbin start.

Going to the game against the Rockies tomorrow.  Taking my six-year old niece to her first game and I read that the park offers a free kids meal of a hot dog, chips, and water.  Where do they offer this?

Also plan on stopping by guest services to get her a certificate for her first game.  Hopefully the line isn't too long!

BTW - I picked this game back in March in my SPH group based on my hunch there'd be a debut of one of the top prospects. Still, it's a chance to see baseball live, so grateful to be going.

who is going tonight? So far I think Bluestreak, BigMeech, and I have said so in the Wood/Crews Debuts thread. A few others I think have said so in other threads.

It may be wet before the game, but would folks like to meet up beforehand? The Loft might be wet, but there are a couple of places under the stands like the Heineken / Stella stand behind section 112/113, the "bay"-like area with tables next to the big Ben's Chili stand down the LF line (convenient to bathrooms and the beer can self help stand), and the CF area behind the 140s where there tables and a District Draft serving the Heurich Senate beer. Also convenient to a Ben's.
