You can split hairs about which stat, but the reality is the offense is terrible, and is wasting great pitching performances. Few hitting prospects have developed, and those that have get their playing time manipulated. Meanwhile, the team's response is to give the GM who can't draft and develop for his life a bobblehead night.

Same for Meneses, and Rosario, and Vargas, and Young and....

This lineup is filled with guys who shouldn't be batting higher than 8th.

The problem is that there aren't any middle of the order bats on the roster.

On most teams if you're down by a couple of runs you would want the top of the order coming up in the bottom of the 9th. Yesterday I was thinking when the Nats were coming up in the bottom of the 9th and had the top of the order coming up with the Nats it doesn't really matter what part of the order is coming up, they're all the same.

My kids are tired of attending Nats game this year. lol. Everytime I take them to a game they choose to have their worse offensive performance of the year

Yep.

Thought the at bats against Wood were interesting. Called out on striked on the edge of the zone.

ABS is being used every game in Triple A. Last year, it struggled with the top of the zone. This year, it has resulted in a narrow zone, as if it its not calling pitches on the black.

In Triple A, at least one of those at bats would have been a walk for Wood.
