Max back in the IL with shoulder fatigue. Might be the end of the road for him.

It’s nice to see Robles is doing well. Maybe we’ll have to lose a couple more talented players before they realize this staff sucks.

He'll be back this year but should hang them up after this year.

Is this staff the problem? Robles was never a good MLB hitters. Even his underlying metrica in 2019 show significant luck and the effects of a juiced baseball.

I'm agreeing with Slate again. This staff gave Robles chance after chance, and he never hit in the majors. This staff gave him coaching and more coaching, off-season exercises to correct his swing, but he kept hitting .200.

The Mariners told Robles something that's caused an improvement in his underlying metrics. His swing speed is much faster after leaving the Nationals.

He's far and away the best hitter on that team right now. If you look at their individual batting stats, they are pretty putrid. Only one regular starter with an OPS above .700 and the highest batting average on the team is .263.  It's nice that Robles is fixed, but let's see if it lasts.

I'm not so sure it's the Ms that fixed him. He had a good 4/23 before his injury.

Said in the off-season he needed a change of scenery and the Nats needed to be rid of him. Just wasn’t going to work out here. Some of this may be new pitchers not used to facing him. I noticed he didn’t do much against Wheeler Sunday. Of course he had one of the tow hits but it hit third base. So a bit of good fortune.

Seattle is arguably a worse hitting team than Washington. Not sure how much Seattle's coaches did versus Robles just being happy to get out of DC.

Also, Robles had his worst seasons under Kevin Long. He improved under Coles.

Seattle is the worst hitting MLB team. Well the White Sox are below them but not a real
MLB team.

MLB has the opportunity to do the funniest thing ever and relegate the White Sox to the Banana Ball league.

don't know who my favorite short-timer with the Nats has been, Schwarber, Candy, or Winker. I'm still thinking leadoff Schwarbs for 6/22.

Members of the Nats media determined that they had used 19 third baseman since Anthony Rendon left.

So I looked this up.

The Angels have used 28 third basemen since they signed Rendon.

Lane Thomas is stinking it up in Cleveland.
Jesse Winker is 5 for his last 18 with the Mets but all singles.

Word is they've put an urgent call into Darnell Coles.

Dylan Floro is stinking it up for the Dbacks
Hunter Harvey was shaky for the Royals before going on the IL with a bad back.

Word is they've put an urgent call into the Hickey/Doo duo.
