College Baseball and Softball 2024

Hokies are in the top twenty in both baseball and softball.

In baseball UVA is #9 and VT is #13.

VT #11 and UVA #15 in baseball.
VT #13 in softball.

UVA is a number 14 in the baseball rankings.  VT has hit a rough patch and dropped out of the top 25. Texas A&M is number one.

UVA is seeded and gets to host a regional. They face Penn in game one. St John’s and Mississippi State are the other teams.

Virginia hosts a super regional this weekend. So a good chance to make the World Series.

Clemson CF made a Willie Mays basket catch to save the game. Well it came out of his glove and he trapped it against his body.  Say hey.

The umpires in these college games are a joke.  Spend long amounts of time reviewing calls. Now they are apparently throwing the Clemson dude out for spiking his bat after a go ahead HR in the 12th. Just insanity.

Actually they threw out the Clemson manager and a coach. Have no idea what for. Excessive celebration?
