Way too much cap space to spend on an older WR who isnt top 8 in his position group

80 catches last year and 13 TDs.  How would you replace that? They had no choice.

He’s the best option they have and it’s not like they have anyone else to spend it on. The last thing you want with Daniels is the bring in a diva number 1 wide receiver that they have to trade away multiple good picks for and pay

Tonight feels like it could be an early season beatdown you just have to shrug off

We’re past that point. If they’re contenders, we shouldn’t expect a beat down

The last time the Redskins won at Lambeau Field, Jay Schroeder was the quarterback. (The 1988 road game against the Packers was in Milwaukee.)

Daniels is not an elite QB.  He cannot make the tough throws he has to make.  Balls out early with all day in the pocket.

But, really, Kingsbury is trash.   Failed everywhere he’s ever coached

Crushed the Raiders, 41-24, before the Nats beat the Mets today. The Raiders scored two TDs late. Game was never close.

Was tied with just over 5 minutes to go in the first half.

Commanders looked very good all game, but the punt return was what really broke it wide open.

The injuries are really getting out of hand. Guess it's better to have it happen early in the season, but still. :?

Get your ass kicked on prime time then come back and get a big win at home with a depleted roster. I don't care about the competition and that the Raiders were on short rest, that's a quality win.

I am glad Kingsbury reverted from being too cute against the Packers to being run heavy yesterday, even when the game was uncomfortably close before the punt return stuck the knife into Vegas. You can win with Jayden Daniel throwing it a lot, but he is ridiculously good in medium and short yardage. Keep him there. We don't need him to be Joe Burrow or Mahomes.

I'd be very hesitant about bringing back Daniels against Atlanta. Make certain he is healthy for the cross country jaunt for the Chargers. I think Mariota-led Commanders can win against Atlanta, I don't think anything but a fluke lets the Commanders beat Chargers without the franchise player.

Totally agree.

Also, Falcons fans are on the verge of committing seppuku if they lose to Mariota, which makes it fun.

QB who was phenomenal as a rookie has a knee ouchie in their second year and the team sucks. The more things change, the more they stay the same

Most teams aren’t as good without starting QB.  Defense looks to be an issue.

The schedule this year is hard. That was a win they needed of they want to play in the post season

This team making it to the NFC championship last year was a miracle

Nah, they were just able to hide their poor pass defense with time of possession. That Peters did little to fix it in the offseason is disconcerting

Peters hit a home run with Jayden. The rest of his draft last year was decidedly less impressive. I doubt he’s Rivera bad, but he’s not off to a promising start

What a sickening loss. The worst self-defeat I can remember since that game vs. Buffalo right after Sean Taylor died.

Not as bad as losing on a Hail Mary while your DB is yacking it up with the fans...
