Penix did not look all that impressive. Made some good reads and had some good throws, but that first interception was awful, and he doesn't seem to have any mobility in the pocket.

the first interception was awful, but they moved the ball pretty well in the first half and at the end of the game. They had something like 2 3 and outs all game. Unfortunately for them, that was led to 10 points on long scoring drives by Daniels.

Normally I scoff at time of possession, but those first 3 drives by the Commies in the second half were awesome to watch.

the OT drive was impressive as well. Even if they only kicked a FG there wasn't going to be much time left for Atlanta to respond.

I saw that Ertz made $750k in bonuses on that catch.

Daniels running decisions kept the sticks moving forward even when receivers weren't open, and he passed well enough to bail them out of a lot of penalties.

Atlanta and TB and Green Bay all losing.

With the Rams losing, the loser of Lions/Vikings goes to LA. Commanders are taking their talents to Tampa.

Would have been better to go to LA I think. Less rabid fans. And TB has good defensive coaches.

Getting 3.5 points in Tampa. Bucs seem unpredictable. Started the season good. Beat the Eagles and the Lions. Then a bad stretch. Finished stronger. Their final game against a bad Saints team was a microcosm of their season.

Almost certainly.  Tampa is red hot.  The Rams' offense has been very hot/cold and has looked beatable since that Buffalo game.

I'm thinking this will probably be end of the line.  No matter what happens, everything is gravy from here on out.  This team wasn't supposed to go to the playoffs at all, let alone win 12 games.

They only won 11...the Bears lost the 12th...

Realistically, if we're counting games that were lost by the other team, we'd have to shave off more than just one win.

What about the ones we lost when our kicker decided to miss an extra point? That’s how seasons go

Came in to this season fully expecting 6 wins. At this point, it's house money

I've been gone a couple months from this thread. You all know I'm an optimist.

Got to come back and say damn I was hyped about this game until that first drive. Their DL rocked our OL every play

Does Quinn hate his kicker?  At least it worked that time.
