Completely serious. From what I saw in that clip Hill was standing, cuffed, when the cop hit him.

You have better eyes than me...I didn't see anyone strike anyone in that clip...

Looks like they were getting him up to his feet. And another one I saw he was on the ground.
Seems excessive but there were some reports he was speeding 100. Of course have no idea how anyone would know his speed. Probably more cameras around and more will come out.

Bengals suck
:lmao: I wanted to call off the season once the Pats scored first.

I didn't watch Brissett much with the Commies, but the dude is made of rubber. The Bengals got a ton of whacks on him in the pocket and on the run. I half expected him to say, "I'm Gumby, dammit!" nice to have Stevenson back, but he almost coughed it up twice in the 4th quarter.

Didn’t see the game but wasn’t he missing his top two receivers.

These guys don’t play preseason anymore. So the first game or two are basically that. Wouldn’t put too much stock in any of the results.

The revised CBS score graphic is both ugly and distracting. And, sorry Fox, but I find Brady quite a challenging listen... ;)

Watching ESPN this morning and they are noting that the only QBs statistically worse than Watson since he joined the Browns are Zach Wilson and Bryce Young.

Meanwhile Mayfield looks fantastic.

Dead cap of $172 million next year and $99 million the year after, so they can't cut him next year but the cap hit is so terrible ($73M) that they'll probably have to extend him to get that number down. This trade is the gift that keeps on giving

Giants vs Panthers in Munich in November. That might cause another conflict with the US?

Puka Nacua has a PCL sprain, likely heading to the IR.

Play stupid games...win stupid prizes...

I see a bunch of level headed cops and a raging jerk who thinks de-escalation is for sissys. Fortunately he did it to someone prominent and he’s suspended and it doesn’t sound like Hill’s people are inclined to let it go

Tua has 200 million reasons to keep playing but yes basically everyone who is anyone in football is tweeting for him to take medical retirement. Even if he comes back, he's been so injury prone in his career that even if he takes the Dolphins to a deep playoff run his legacy will be "what could have been if not for injuries"

Boswell had a column in the Post earlier this week talking about how Jayden Daniels running the ball 16 times is a recipe for disaster if they regularly allow it to happen. Would have been interesting had he written that column today instead of earlier in the week. I didn't see last night's game, but reading about it this morning immediately made me think of that column.

He gets an extra $125 million if he isn’t medically cleared and we’re reaching the point where no doctor will clear him

What do you mean by extra--over and above what he has made so far?

“While a full recovery is the only real focus here, in response to questions regarding Tua Tagovailoa's contract:

The deal includes $167M guaranteed for injury, $43M of which has been paid in 2024.

If he's medically cleared to return to football, but opts to retire, he will forego the remaining $124M guaranteed (barring a custom settlement).

If he's medically forced into retirement, he has a right to collect the $124M remaining“
