From reading some of the details, at least two doctors ought to be facing capital murder charges. Just awful.

Johnny Hockey or Johnny Gaudreau.  And his brother.  There were some other reports it was drunk driver hit them but don;t see that here.  They were scheduled to be in their sister's wedding tomorrow.  Terrible.

Johnny was married and two young kids. Not sure about his brother. He’s from South Jersey and folks around town always wanted him to be a Flyer. When he became a free agent a couple years ago that seemed to be the slam dunk move but the GM at the time messed up on cap space.  BC guy also.

Reading more and he apparently tried to pass on the right shoulder and hit them.  Dude apparently has two kids also and destroyed his own family. Just because he didn’t call Uber. People are the worst.   Makes me angry.

Gaudreau's time at BC was around the peak BC hockey. I believe he was only a 4th round pick but won the Hobey Baker. I used to drink at CCSP with a guy from the Philly area whose son played hockey with him on some youth teams. I followed college hockey pretty closely back then. There were questions at the time about how he'd do in the NHL given his size.

Truly awful that drunks still take lives. RIP.
