I’ve got a slot at 10 on Tuesday. It’s complicated because they want to keep prices low and eliminate scalping. They leave a ton of money on the table.

I tried for Nashville and Atlanta and didn't get pulled for either.

My sister said the bleacher seats were selling for $200 out in the San Francisco area of California.

Their entire vision is a fan-first experience. So they try and do away with the things that annoy fans the most about baseball. Ticket prices and resale fees are pretty high on that list.

In Savannah they used to include food with tickets.

The Bananas will cancel tickets they see being sold at high mark-up on third party sites. They run their own resale platform. I have seen folks get away with selling tickets at face value on 3rd party sites, but you won't get your bar code until the day before the game so you only have a limited time to sell.

Cap the price of something that is in demand and has a finite supply and people have to pay more with their time. Maybe I should have said Soviet groceries. Or Fugazi tickets.

The could probably sell out at 2 or 3x the cost. So time versus money.

I've spent a grand total of about 15 minutes registering for the lottery and confirming my identity. Last year I bought tickets in about 15 minutes.

At the risk of outing myself as an ancient geezer, I remember the good old days of people literally camping out overnight to buy tickets to jurassic rock shows. But the people who regularly did that had an almost asymptotic time:money substitution curve

yep. I spent many a night in the 80s camping out at the local record store that had a ticket shop.

My wife and son won’t be using their 11am slots. I suspect a lot of families had everyone register after the difficulty getting tickets last year.

Might this be a preview of getting World Cup tickets in 2026? My understand is that since Europeans find scalping to be "icky" and have strong norms against it, FIFA severely restricts the secondary market.

I bought a Calgary Flames/Chicago Blackhawks ticket at the Saddledome on the secondary market and the Ticketbastard fees came to like $2. It'll probably be cheaper to catch a WC game in Toronto.

Bananas play tonight at 7 PM at Clemson's football stadium. They sold out more than 81,000 seats, biggest crowd for them so far.

Got my tickets. When I logged in all that I could choose from were premium seats, and 100's on the RF side at two pricing tiers (132-137 for $60, and 138-143 (under the scoreboard) for $40.

I bought five tickets in 132-137. You don't find out your actual tickets until before game time.

Did not buy tickets. By the time I logged in, all that were left were Diamond Club, and outfield 100’s. I didn’t want to spend the $$ for Diamond Club, and the outfield seats did not look appealing. Maybe next year.

I was in group 5 of 10. I suspect the folks in the later groups aren’t going to have much to pick from at any price point.

Same for me, I was in Group 4 and it was either Diamond Club or Outfield seats. I opted for the outfield seats since there's no guarantee that I'll get another chance to see the Bananas. I'll be there for the Friday night game, in Section 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, or 107.

both games sold out. Last year they made a SRO tickets available a week or so in advance. They also allow resale, at face value, on their website.

We were in 108 last year, just a bit further in from where you’ll be. A lot of the antics seemed to occur at home and the infield sidelines. We found ourselves looking at the video board a lot to catch what was going on. Hopefully now that they’ve had a year of playing in large ballparks, they may expand the antics and tricks so that folks in the far seats can experience more. That said, you may want to bring binoculars, especially if you end up in seats closer to centerfield where it’s difficult to see the scoreboard.

But wherever you’re sitting, it’s definitely something to see. Have fun!
