So, in reading coverage of yesterday's game, I was reminded that Eovaldi has had 2 TJSs. It's more common now for guys to return well from a second TJS, but I'm wondering if he might be among the best after being given a 3 lease on life as a pitcher. What's especially odd about him is, while he always was a well-regarded prospect, his performance after his second TJS is pretty clearly better than anything he had accomplished before his second surgery.
Who else has pitched as well after a second TJS? Who among those pitchers more or less has exceeded anything that he had done before the second surgery?
