OK mop up work from Ferrer and Machado.

Garcia got a day off so can go long if he has to. Thompson got some rest too for middle relief duty in the next series.

Kirk was supposed to be a no question bat coming into this year but it ended up a disappointment up to this series. Somebody must have done a Vulcan mind-meld on him to restore him.

Funny story: some Canadian radio guy on Twitter/X got "canceled" last year for daring to say that Kirk is out of shape. Alek Manoah was very much involved in this Twitter/X feud with the radio person-- guess he should've concentrated on his pitching mechanics instead of lashing out on Twitter ;)
