Trying too hard to disprove the whole platoon bat thing.  :(

Lane decided that the best way to avoid being tagged as a platoon bat was to start sucking against lefties

Kieboom is not such a great fielder. He recovered, but he isn't Ryan Zim or Rendon. And maybe not Jake Alu, either.

Fine game by Williams. I thought he was done when Soler homered, but...

with a 6 man rotation, we need the starters to go deep. they should be able to throw more pitches per start. looks like it may be working for williams, adon, and irvin.

Kieboom?

I'm inclined to agree, but I was at Yankee Stadium on Tuesday when he homered on the first pitch. Maybe he will come back this week.

Meanwhile, Mason Thompson...maybe he's hurt again?

Would anyone have batted Chavis over Young in the 9th. Maybe Davey thought you shouldn’t do that to him in his first game. He didn’t get the ball out of the infield in 3 AB’s.
