3 more. 111 pitches.
They’re going with a six man rotation that will help him. Career high in pitches.  Has mostly been a reliever.

I don't remember any Washington team being no-hit. Not the Old Senators in the '60s, not the New Senators in the '60s, and not the New Nationals.

I believe Nats are the only active franchise that has not been on the wrong end of a no-hitter. At least so far.

When Robert Garcia pitches, I think of Robert Hunter and Jerry Garcia

Crews would’ve got a hit tonight.

Well, if the pitching gives up 7 runs, you will usually lose, and if you get no hit, you usually lose. Nats were efficient and got the bad done together. Counts as just one loss

Second no-no I’ve seen in person. The first one (Zimmermann) was much more fun…

Indeed, but that called strike 3 to Joey was questionable :/

Great job by Lorenzen nonetheless!

Said in the post game interview that he was mad at himself after the first couple innings with the walks. Knew he blew his chance to go long in the game.

Can't be too many people who have seen two no-hitters in two different stadiums.  I was at the JZ one too, and I just assume I'll never see another.

I was at a no hitter that George Culver pitched against the Phillies years ago. Second game of a doubleheader and he has to get up early for work next morning. So he drove us home after like five innings. It was kind of like this one as Culver had a few walks.

Harrisburg Senators did a lot of hitting, at least. Wood and Hassell each hit home runs, although I watch Wood miss two curve balls that broke down to his ankles -- a strikeout. He had struck out earlier, before I was watching.

So much more fun. Souza still playing? (Nah. Retired last year.)

I would think not.  I was at the game where Angel Pagan hit an inside the park homer and started a triple play. As best as I can tell has only been done twice.

What about 2 perfect games spoiled on the 27th batter…

Wood has his average up to .230. It had gotten down to as low as around .212.
